When to Wear No Show Socks Reddit

What are your favourite ankle or no-show socks that aren't permanently eaten by your shoes?

I recently discovered rolling my pant legs up, but my higher socks look terrible then, of course. However, my old no-shows constantly pull down under my soles and it drives me nuts. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

I've gone through so many myself. The only ones I have found to work are vans for regular wear and nike when for when I'm working out. They're a little pricey for socks but totally worth it.

Agreed. The Vans no-show socks are excellent, and good quality too, I find. They last me quite a while.

Yes! I've had the vans ones for 3 years and they're still holding up.

Primark sells similarly shaped socks for much less! And the quality is actually quite comparable to the Vans or Nike socks. They never slip, and I haven't had any issues with wear and tear.

I have to second the Nike ones. I walk anywhere from 8 to 15 mikes a day and they never slip down. Although op may want a sock that's less visible.

Smartwool Hide and Seek socks!! They're a little pricey for socks.. but they don't slip and they will last quite a while. I got my first pair about four years ago and they're only just now starting to show some wear and tear. I wear a pair with my Sperry's or Keds every day.

I just got a pair of these and am wearing them for the first time as I write this! They haven't slipped down once today. I'm wearing them with Dr. Martens 1461s and they've been great. As a side note, I wasn't a fan of the lower Sleuth style socks...they fall off my heels.

Adidas! Costco sells them in packs and my mom randomly got me some and now they're my favorite.

I like the adidas also but these only work if you have a size 9 foot or smaller! I wear a 10.5 and these socks are way too tight (I don't have wide feet either). I gave my socks to my old roommate (size 9.5) and she said the same thing.

I've since switched to the Vans ones and don't have issues.

Yes! The Adidas ones are great. I love wearing them with my Superga and Puma low tops.

I love my Adidas ones too! I just spent a ton of cash on no-shows but couldn't find adidas. Looks like I need to go to Costco!

h&m has ones with a silicone grip on the heel, they are the best no-show socks i own, and super cheap

yes! the ones with the little red stitching!

for some reason i can't ever find them at my H&M anymore, just a bunch of ballet cut ones, I am just wearing with ankle boots or sneakers so i don't need the extra low cut (and more prone to slip)

i thought maybe they discontinued them, but i shall go back to looking again.

Not all no shows with the rubber bit at the heel are equal.. I have tons that fall down in my shoe and the ones that don't I think are by kensie. I found them at Winners/Marshalls.

Also I know that the shoe stores Aldo and Call it Spring have the rubber back socks. Packs of 3 for $10 cdn I believe.

Yes!! I just bought a pair of these and whole-heartedly recommend them. They even have the little rubber/plastic grip things on the inside of the heel of the sock to prevent them from slipping off your heel! I'll be buying several more pair online!

Bombas are the only ones that have ever worked for me. They're expensive, but they donate a specially designed pair to the homeless for each pair purchased so that helps take the sting off.
